Chips&Cañas Temático
A curated small committee around a sectoral, niche or transversal topic. Each meetup gathers professionals picked one by one for their fit with the theme. One single conversation, more depth, no subgroups.

By invitation or requesting one via the website. We send an email RSVP with 48 hours to confirm; the first five to respond attend.
Free attendance. Everyone pays for their own consumption.
Chips&Cañas Unidos
A larger networking to bring the Chipsters community together, mix profiles and widen the circle. Before the event, every attendee fills in a profile card with their interests, and from there we generate connections and run different interactive activities.
18:00-20:00. Every 2 months
By invitation, or by requesting entry from the website. We send an email RSVP with 6-3 days to confirm.
30,00 € per person, appetizers and drinks included.

Chips&Cañas was born in 2009 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the idea of offering selective, human and valuable in-person networking. For a time it was also active in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Participants exchange information, ideas and contacts, and look for opportunities, partners and collaborators.
Between 2016 and 2019 there was a pause while Michael Gourion launched the first BNI group in Tenerife — the largest professional networking organisation in the world. In March 2020 Chips&Cañas was held again, but the activity was halted by Covid. After many requests from the Chipsters, it returned in September 2023 with an evolved format: Chips&Cañas Temático, designed to go deep into a specific topic. In May 2026 Chips&Cañas Unidos joined in, designed to widen the network of contacts.
Behind every meetup there is significant preparation work to balance profiles, look after the dynamic and make sure each session truly generates value.
